Humanities' long lifespan leads to accumulation of genes mutations. Some of these mutations can be critical for cancer development. Cancer cells can recruit other healthy cells such as immune cells and stroma cells to support tumor development and metastasis via specific mutations and extracellular communication. In my study we utilize cancer cells to learn how does mutations in p53,"the guardian of the genome" and extracellular vesicles can promote aggressive malignancies.
